Our Mission

Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC is a Pittsburgh law firm with an outstanding reputation for service to its clients. Since its inception, Pollock Begg has dedicated its practice to family law and estate planning, including divorce, custody, support, property division, protection from abuse, adoption, juvenile matters, estate planning, and business succession. It is our mission to provide high quality and economical legal services that will enable our clients and their families to withstand the personal and financial turmoil of divorce. We attempt to resolve matters amicably if possible, and we litigate aggressively if settlement is not possible. The welfare of our clients' children is our highest priority and abiding interest. Our lawyers serve clients throughout Pennsylvania and in multi-state and international matters.

The principal attorneys in the firm actively lecture throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to associations and groups of lawyers, judges, court officials, certified public accountants, public accountants and tax practitioners on a variety of subjects, including spousal and child support, alimony pendente lite, alimony, equitable distribution, counsel fees, income taxation of separation and divorce, divorce, prenuptial agreements, interrelationship with estate and trust plans, custody and adoption.

We are pleased to announce that five partners (David S. Pollock, Todd M. Begg, Candice L. Komar, Daniel H. Glasser, and Brian C. Vertz) have been selected as 2007 Super Lawyers for family law. Kristen M. Humphrey, Esquire and Dana Levine A. Levine, Esquire were named as a 2007 Pennsylvania "Rising Star" attorneys by Pennsylvania Law & Politics magazine.

What is a Super Lawyer? The publishers of Law and Politics and Philadelphia Magazine conduct an annual survey of all Pennsylvania lawyers who have been licensed for five years or more. The magazine staff conducts its own research and combines its research with the results of the survey. Finally, a blue ribbon panel reviews the nominees in each practice area. The top 5% of lawyers in each practice area are designated as Super Lawyers.
