Angelica L. Revelant
Angelica L. Revelant (Angel) is a family law attorney with Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC since January 2008. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Young Lawyers’ Division and the Women’s Bar Association. Angel is a coordinator of an orientation program for newly admitted attorneys through her participation with the Mentoring Committee of the Family Law Section. She volunteers with the North Hills Community Outreach as well as the Wills For Heroes program. She is an opinion editor with the Pittsburgh Legal Journal and has authored case notes for the PA Family Lawyer. Ms. Revelant is also a member of the Matrimonial Inns of Court.
Ms. Revelant attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she obtained a dual degree in Psychology and Philosophy. She was admitted to the Air Force Officer Training Program where she intended to pursue the Judge Advocate General program. She then attended Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, obtaining her Juris Doctorate and a certificate in Dispute Resolution and Advocacy.
Mrs. Revelant began her legal career as a law clerk for several Harrisburg and Pittsburgh area firms, concentrating in family and criminal law issues. Mrs. Revelant has been admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as the Middle District of Pennsylvania and Western District of Pennsylvania.
While attending law school, she was a member of the Penn State Law Review, for which she authored an article regarding criminal sentencing issues which has been recognized by justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mrs. Revelant also performed legal services for low-income clients with the Family Law Clinic and pro bono services with the Dauphin County Bar Association, developing a packet of forms for use by pro se litigants. Angel also served as a member of the Task Force on Loan Forgiveness to address law school debt incurred by those committed to public service.
Angel has given a number of presentations and seminars on the topics of family law and criminal law, including Successful Settlements for the Divorce Client through the National Business Institute, General Practitioners’ Update for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Family Law 101 with the Young Lawyers’ Division Practicum Series. In 2010, she was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star.
