Joseph R. Williams

Williams, JosephJoseph R. Williams is an associate attorney with Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC.  Prior to being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October 2009, he was a law clerk with the firm.  Mr. Williams received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Bethany College in 2006, where he completed a senior project titled “Total Recall? The Reliability of Witness Testimony.”  Mr. Williams received his Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law in June 2009.

While in law school, Mr. Williams was a semi-finalist in the Carol Los Mansmann Appellate Moot Court Competition at Duquesne University School of Law.  Mr. Williams also served as a staff writer for Juris, Duquesne’s award winning legal magazine.  Mr. Williams published three articles for Juris, respectively titled “From the Courtroom to the Capitol: Duquesne Lawyers Active in Politics,” “Lawyers Fall Prey to Pricey Internet Scams” and “Not So Fast! New Allegheny County Foreclosure Program Gives Residents One More Chance to Keep Their Homes Before Eviction.”  In 2008, Mr. Williams authored the alimony case law update for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s General Practitioners Update.

Mr. Williams is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section.
