Katherine L.W. Norton is an associate with Pollock Begg Komar Glasser. LLC. Prior to being admitted to practice in the State Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Western District Court of Pennsylvania in 2005, she was a law clerk for the firm. Ms. Norton’s practice focuses on all areas of family law including divorce, support and custody at both the trial and appellate level.

Ms. Norton received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Allegheny College in 2002 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law in May 2005.

While in law school, Ms. Norton was a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence W. Kaplan. Ms. Norton was also a Certified Legal Intern for the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law, Family Law Clinic. As a Certified Legal Intern, Ms. Norton represented indigent clients in child custody, paternity and support actions. Ms. Norton also received training in mediation and acted as a mediator for custody disputes. In 2004, Ms. Norton was a finalist in the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law Appellate Moot Court Competition. For Spring 2005, Mrs. Norton received the CALI award for Pennsylvania Practice.

Ms. Norton is currently a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. As a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Ms. Norton is a member of the Public Service Committee and a co-chair of the Family Law Section, Pro Bono Committee. Ms. Notion has also served as past co-chair of the Family Law Section Children’s Issues Committee. Ms. Norton has made multiple presentations in the areas of child custody, appeals and divorce.
