Mr. Pollock is a founding member of the Pittsburgh law firm of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC. He was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Maurice Louik, Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, and an associate in a general practice law firm. Thereafter he established his own law firms in metropolitan Pittsburgh, which he maintained until joining Reed Smith Shaw & McClay, LLP as a partner and head of its Matrimonial Law Group.
Mr. Pollock is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Treasurer of the AAML Pa Chapter, Past Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section, Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section, Master Emeritus of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Matrimonial Inns of Court, member of the ABA Family Law Section and Editor-in-Chief of the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer. He is a frequent lecturer, author, moderator and course planner for the PBA, PBI, ABA, ACBA, AICPA and CCAC on a variety of family law topics. He is currently listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Naifeh & Smith, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and Preeminent Lawyers in Martindale Hubbel. Mr. Pollock is the Co-Course Planner/Co-Editor of the award-winning PBI manual and workshop: Drafting Marital Settlement Agreements. Mr. Pollock received his B.A. in 1970 from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. in 1974 from the Duquesne University School of Law.
