Brian C. Vertz
Mr.Vertz is a partner of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser LLC, a Pittsburgh law firm dedicated to the practice of family law litigation and appeals. Mr. Vertz was elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Pennsylvania SuperLawyer for family law in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He has earned his designation as an Accredited Valuation Analyst, denoting proficiency in business valuation theory and practice. Mr. Vertz is a past member of the Family Law Section Council of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. He was a founding member of the Pittsburgh matrimonial chapter of the American Inns of Court.
He is an author of Tax Consequences in Divorce (2005) and Drafting Marital Settlement Agreements (2003)for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (2005), as well as an author for more than a decade of Fundamentals of Family Law (PBI 2006).
